The Delta Rockets played a recent show at Dimitri’s Lounge in Suisun City along with local favorite Sargent Tucker. As an initial test of how well a late afternoon show on Sundays would work, we were all pleased with the large number of music fans who made it out to the show. And once again, we were lucky enough to have the wonderful photographic talents of Cathy Whitney in attendance. She has become a great friend of the band and her results speak for themselves. Showcasing a series of LIVE MUSIC events, we’ll be starting with a Scorpio Birthday Party on Nov 20th, featuring local favorite, recording artist Sargent Tucker playing original recordings, R&B, Jazz and Funk. Also featuring another local favorite, The Delta Rockets, playing Blues, Motown, R&B with special emphasis on getting you dancing!
Doors open at 5:00 with advanced tickets selling for $8 and $10 at the door. We’ll have raffle prizes and loads of great music in this fantastic venue tailored especially for dancing.

At Coppola Winery

The Delta Rockets played a recent show at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery outside of Geyserville, CA on the weekend of Sep, 24. Along with the beautiful Fall weather, we had such a fun show playing in front of the weekend gathering of poolside partiers and sun worshipers. The band played 4 great sets and have been told by the staff that we’d be invited back soon. So keep your fingers crossed for more poolside entertainment and/or parties indoors at this gorgeous resort-like winery.

The Delta Rockets will be playing an afternoon show at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville on Sept 24th. This great winery has some picturesque settings, great wine and a massive swimming pool! We’ll be playing in the Pavilion next to the pool, so be prepared to do some swimming AND dancing in the sunshine of the beautiful Sonoma County wine country!

At The Blues Festival

The Delta Rockets played this annual 3 day event this year and persevered through the unusually high heat wave to play a great 90 minute set for the crowd in Downtown Vacaville. With new faces Rick Whedbee on bass guitar and Kevin Seeman on keys, the sound of the band has evolved once again, giving The Delta Rockets even more flexibility in material and harmonic possibilities. We hope you enjoyed this as much as we did!

At Fiesta Days

We had such a great time playing for the fans at Fiesta Days this year. We played this annual Vacaville festival back in 2008 and it was great to be back on the main stage at Creekwalk again this year. The weather was on our side as we had a beautiful day amid several other rainy days, so lots of folks got to dance! A special thanks to Kevin Frazier for helping out on sax too! Hope to see you all at Fiesta Days next year too.
